GET TO KNOW: FEAR OF GOD
Los Angeles designer Jerry Lorenzo founded Fear of God in 2013, quickly becoming a streetwear status symbol known for sophisticated yet low-key basics that take inspiration from the divine and everyday. On Friday, June 5, Fear of God launched a "super collab" T-shirt made in partnership with eight independent designers, including Pyer Moss’ Kerby Jean-Raymond in honor of George Floyd with all money going toward the Gianna Floyd Fund.

Brother Vellies was founded in 2013 with the goal of keeping traditional African design practices, and techniques alive while also creating and sustaining artisanal jobs. lemlem is an artisan-driven collection of fashion and home goods made entirely in Africa and is committed to elevating artisanship and expanding production and jobs across Africa. The core collection is handwoven from natural cotton in Ethiopia and lemlem is steadily expanding partnerships with additional artisan groups across Africa.

Haitian-Italian designer Stella Jean burst onto the scene in 2011 after winning Vogue Italia’s "Who Is On Next" talent contest. The basis of Jean's work is multiculturalism applied to fashion, and her activism goes far beyond slogan tees and hashtags and actually incites economic and social change.
