Bella Freud - Designer Bella Freud came up with the idea for her distinctive 1970 sweater, here seen as a silver iteration, after coming across the date while leafing through a book. She made a photocopy of the page, amplified it, cut it out and pinned it to her own black sweater – and now this key element is represented in the form of knitted intarsia. Tuck it inside flared jeans to echo the style's retro theme.
