Alexander McQueen's Pre-Fall '17 collection is inspired by sculptor Barbara Hepworth, in particular her muted colors and the sense of raw beauty of the plaster cast and stone in her large scale, abstract work. This coat reflects these references in a way that is quintessentially McQueen. It's tailored from a very soft brushed-wool fabric woven in Biella, a town in North Italy known for its traditional woolworkers' and weavers' guilds. Fully lined in satin, this piece is impeccably finished with horn buttons and flap pockets.
