This beautiful set of pictures has been printed on traditional Chinese ‘Xuan Paper’, chosen for its durability and smooth surface. Many ancient books and paintings that were printed on this hardy rice paper during the Tang Dynasty are still around today. After the design is transferred on to the paper, final flourishes are added by hand to bring out the colours in the composition.
