Our Mystique cover is inspired by a cover said to be designed by Le Gascon, a legendary but little known seventeenth century bookbinder. Le Gason was the inventor of the pointille and fanfare styles, and his influence is felt throughout the rich bookbinding history that follows him. Complete with Smyth sewn binding, ribbon marker, memento pouch and lined with thin, dark grey lines on ivory paper.
