McGaw Graphics Entanglement by Joi Murugavell (Framed)

Entanglement Framed Print: *High quality print on fine art paper *Printed with vibrant, color-fast inks *Framed in a contemporary vinyl frame *Ready to hang Joi Murugavell has been drawing since she was six, her whimsical and hilarious drawings she calls 'Oodlies' are her means of finding escape and understanding. Her work often investigates the intricacies or as she puts it 'the trials and tribulations' of human communication. She favors acrylics, ink, pen, markers and is continually experimenting with new surfaces and ideas 'because new experiences often create the environment to become 'unstuck'. Her heavy introverted tendencies has not stopped her from several live performances, often drawing on a tablet to music, inviting audience participation. She believes a piece is not complete until it's viewed by an audience who then adds a final coat of interaction and sometimes the most useful friction. She currently works from her quiet studio in Sydney, Australia.

McGaw Graphics Manhattan Bridge by Mauro Baiocco (Framed)

Manhattan Bridge Framed Print: *High quality print on fine art paper *Laminated on masonite *Printed with vibrant, color-fast inks *Framed in a contemporary artblock ash frame *Ready to hang Born in Argentina, Artist Mauro Baiocco moved to New York City in 2000. His first foray into making art was to pay his way through Graduate school where he studied Social Work. While he has no formal art training, he developed a great appreciation and skill for art, and decided that he enjoyed making art more than pursuing a career in Social Work. In his collection of urban collage images, he seeks to marry his interest in photography and painting. Using recycled materials such as cardboard, metal, paper, and plastic, he builds images from his photographs, creating works that play with the idea of repetition. Often reusing the same photo, each unique work is defined and differentiated by the various materials used, making each work both an original and a reproduction. Mauro is a full time artist residing in New York City.

McGaw Graphics Roses by Elizabeth Hellman (Framed)

Roses Framed Print: *High-quality print on fine art paper *Printed with vibrant, color-fast inks *Framed in a contemporary style vinyl molding *Single mat, plexiglass and wire on foam core *Ready to hang *Made in the USA Elizabeth Hellman was born in Brighton, England in 1972. She studied art at Brighton University and the London Guildhall University before deciding to specialize in fine art. Since then she has been a regular exhibitor at the 'Open House' exhibitions at the Brighton Arts Festival. Elizabeth has always been inspired by the natural world and flowers in particular, and so decided to concentrate on flowers for the subject of her paintings. She delights in capturing the fragility and delicacy of these blooms combined with their strength and vivacity. In a painstaking process Elizabeth uses oil paints to provide a rich quality of colour, building up the pigment so that one painting may have as many as five or six layers on it. This process is very time consuming and she may spend around 100 hours working on each painting over a period of three or four months. When not painting Elizabeth enjoys spending time working in the garden and walking in the countryside.

Dish of Pears, 1936 by Pablo Picasso Framed Print: *High quality print on heavy paper *Printed with vibrant, color-fast inks *Wooden framed in a gold, traditional style molding *Single mat, plexi and wire on foam core *Ready to hang *Made in the USA Pablo Picasso (born Oct. 25, 1881, Malaga, Spain - died April 8, 1973, Mougins, France) was a Spanish-born French painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and stage designer. Trained by his father, a professor of drawing, he exhibited his first works at 13. After moving permanently to Paris in 1904, he replaced the predominantly blue tones of his so-called Blue Period (1901 - 04) with those of pottery and flesh in his Rose Period (1904 - 06). His first masterpiece, Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (1907), was controversial for its violent treatment of the female body and the mask-like faces derived from his study of African art. His first masterpiece, Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (1907), was controversial for its violent treatment of the female body and the mask-like faces derived from his study of African art. From 1909 to 1912 Picasso worked closely with Georges Braque - the only time Picasso ever worked with another painter in this way - and they developed what came to be known as Cubism. The artists presented a new kind of reality that broke away from Renaissance tradition, especially from the use of perspective and illusion. Neither Braque nor Picasso desired to move into the realm of total abstraction in their Cubist works, although they implicitly accepted inconsistencies such as different points of view, different axes, and different light sources in the same picture. By 1912 they had taken Cubism further by gluing paper and other materials onto their canvases. Between 1917 and 1924 Picasso designed stage sets for five ballets for Sergey Diaghilev's Ballets Russes. In the 1920s and '30s, the Surrealists spurred him to explore new subject matter, particularly the image of the Minotaur. The Spanish Civil War inspired perhaps his greatest work, the enormous Guernica (1937), whose violent imagery condemned the useless destruction of life. After World War II he joined the Communist Party and devoted his time to sculpture, ceramics, and lithography as well as painting. In his late years he created variations on the works of earlier artists, the most famous being a series of 58 pictures based on Las Meninas of Diego Velazquez. For nearly 80 of his 91 years Picasso devoted himself to an artistic production that contributed significantly to and paralleled the whole development of modern art in the 20th century.

Winter Sunset Print: *High-quality print on fine art paper *Printed with vibrant, color-fast inks *Wooden molded frame *Single mat, plexiglass and wire on foam core *Ready to hang *Made in the USA William Montgomery is an abstract artist who embraces technology as a means to create his art. Inspired and influenced by abstract masters Piet Mondrian, Wassily Kandinsky, Mark Rothko, and Willem de Kooning, Montgomery approaches color and form digitally where his contemporaries used paint and canvas. Montgomery showed an interest in art from a very early age and always liked creating things with his hands. When he was in high school, he became more serious about art and has continued to paint and sculpt since then. He studied art in Philadelphia, Rome, and London and has shown his work in several group and one-man exhibitions. In 1991 he began working with computers to create his artwork. When he started using an iPad, he discovered a new level of creativity and potential since this new tool allowed him to create artwork with his hands wherever he may be.

What started with a pen and ink rendering of a vintage Polaroid camera soon turned into an exploration of aesthetics and ideas. Drawings were made, concepts were fleshed out, silkscreening was learned and in April of 2009 the first folding table was set up in Union Square. All products are designed and illustrated by one or both Gloria and Audrey in their studio/store at 29 Essex Street in New York City.
