This 1960s Vintage Hobé piece is hand-knotted with graduated faux pearls set in gold plating with a 925 silver engraved pinch-push clasp complete with original Hobé tag. Initially from a family company of French master goldsmiths, the name crossed the Atlantic to New York, when William Hobé began creating quality costume jewellery for the showgirls of the Ziegfield Follies. The company would later be known as the choice jewellery of Hollywood, custom-making designs to compliment leading ladies costumes.
