Professional Installation Included by Nest Certified Installer What does your Nest standard installation include? The Nest Learning thermostat is a replacement for an existing thermostat whether it’s a heating control on the boiler (or wet underfloor heating); a wall mounted thermostat or a wireless thermostat. If you already have a thermostat, your standard installation will be on a like for like basis; and we will replace your existing thermostat. For example, should you have an existing walled mounted thermostat which has a power supply, this will be removed and replaced by the Nest Thermostat. Prior to installation, you will receive an email or phone call from our installation partner in order to find out the make and model of your boiler to ensure compatibility with Nest Learning Thermostat. The installation takes approximately one hour. What does your Nest standard installation not include? If you do not already have a thermostat or should your existing thermostat (wall mounted or wireless) not have a power supply, your Nest will need to be powered via the power pack that comes with the product.
