The AJ Eklipta Wall Light was originally designed for the Rødovre Town Hall in Denmark to illuminate indoor staircases and exterior walls As a true functionalist master, Arne Jacobsen created the AJ Eklipta in a time period when Danish design had an exceptional quality to it. Today, this fixture is still used in various architectural environments worldwide. The AJ Eklipta Wall Light emits a soft, comfortable light. The glass is designed to provide a uniformly lit surface. The three-layer hand-blown opal glass shade has a transparent edge, providing a decorative halo of light around the fixture. The AJ Eklipta Wall Light is composed of a spun aluminum structure with a hand-blown white opal glass diffuser. Can be mounted directly over a recessed 4" octagonal junction box.
