Belgian artist-and-designers Pascale and Enzo fell in love at first sight when they met as teenagers at the Academy des Beaux-Arts. Motivated by their joie de vivre and a passion for jewelry making, in 1980 they drove Enzo's BMW 750 down to the Cote d'Azur and set up shop in Nice, France. Thus, the quirky costume jewelry label Les Nereides was born. Vintage dolls, paintings and ephemera from the world over inspire their dreamy, feminine designs, like this bluebird pendant necklace.
