The casserole dish is handcrafted from cast iron and turned in an individual mould in a striking Marseille blue finish at a foundry in northern France. Designed to last and hard-wearing, the body of the dish has a low oval shape with curved handles while it also comes with a lid that features the Le Creuset brand name and a contrasting silver handle. It is suitable for all types of hobs, offering versatility to the cookware piece. The Cast Iron Shallow Casserole Pot can be used to make foods such as curries, pies, rice dishes and sauces.
