The warmth and comfort of our pure-cotton Cords make them a versatile alternative to wool. The fabric is exceptionally soft while still extremely durable, giving you the benefit of both comfort and sharp looks. Firmly anchoring the wales with a W-weave (which threads yarns through the fabric twice) stops “balding” — spots where the pile has worked loose — and lets us avoid polyester or nylon for strength. And the 10-wale corduroy has a slightly more casual look than the finer 18-wale, allowing it to comfortably transition to weekends.
