Own a classic part of children's literature on your wall with this sweet Paddington Bear print. Taken from the timeless books written by Michael Bond it depicts a cute bear wearing his trademark duffle coat and red hat. He is a polite bear, from Peru, with a love of marmalade sandwiches. He was found sitting on his battered suitcase at Paddington train station with a note around his neck - ‘Please look after this bear. Thank you.’. He was found and ‘adopted’ by the British Brown family who constantly keep him out of mischief and trouble. Paddington was originally published in 1958 based on a lone teddy bear found in a charity shop by Michael Bond. His first book was called 'A Bear Called Paddington', since then he's gone to star in television shows and been immortalised as a stuffed toy.
