We love this simple yet incredibly stylish box light from Design House Stockholm which is designed by Jonas Hakaniemi. Your hand is the dimmer. Open the box light and light floods out, or just leave a narrow slit as a nigh light. The idea of Box light was born from a simple matchbox, combining this concept with a low energy fluorescent light bulb it created the ultimate designer light, and was awarded with an honourable mention at the Red Dot Design Awards in 2009. Each lamp has an aluminium box and white plastic shade complete with textile cord. Recommended bulb is compact fluorescent 5W 4 pin bulb which is included. Available in 2 colours.
