New York-based designer Cynthia Rowley creates womenswear that brings together an air of carefree girlishness with tailored sophistication. Rowley graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago, where, as a senior, several New York stores picked up her first collection of eight pieces. Since moving to Manhattan and officially launching her line in 1988, the Chicago native has expanded her brand to include menswear, beauty, shoes, handbags, and even collaborated on a line of swimwear for Roxy.
