limited edition: One of a Finds original works are offered one time only in a small reserve. This special CB2 find has a limited edition release of 100. rolling down the river. Reclaimed from the cold waters of Northern Ontario, this unique table's old-growth pine is a window into the rich Canadian logging history. Hundreds of tree rings date the wood back to the 1800s, when lumberjacks once braved the winter—chopping, stacking, then skidding logs by horse and sled to the snowy riverbanks. Once ice melted, they rolled logs into the water and drove them down the river by hand. While each log wore a mark of its mill, some never finished the journey, lost to the riverbed until recently discovered and salvaged exclusively for CB2. Kiln-dried and hand-cut into quarter-rounds, each table is left unfinished in its natural state to highlight its wood grain, and naturally occurring knots and wood checks. Matte black faded ombré effect echoes its riverbed heritage. Our participation in this special project not only saves these valuable lost woods, but also cleans up our North American waterways and helps to preserve healthy forests.
