A unique cashmere shawl, from our exclusive collection of hand spun, hand woven and hand embroidered pure pashmina ring shawls made by skilled artisans in Kashmir from the finest cashmere, too fine to be machine spun. The national bird of India, the peacock is featured here in all its glorious colours, meticulously and lovingly hand embroidered in fine silk thread. The colours are eye-catching and vibrant against the natural tone of the shawl. Each peacock is 8cm x 6cm and they are evenly positioned throughout the shawl. Each shawl takes many months to embroider and in one corner, sewn in pink thread are the initials of the spinner, the weaver and the embroiderer, all three different artisans.
